In this monthly circle in the river, we engage our intuition by collaging images that call us to form something new. It’s a time for surprise and wonder, creative play, and compassionate reflection.
This new creation holds an identity, one of the many expressions of you. When consulted, it speaks to you from deep within your subconscious. What does it want to tell you? What does it need? What longs to be seen and heard to bring this aspect into balance?
To generate this dialogue, we will experiment with the SoulCollage® method, a creative practice for self-discovery and personal guidance. These are guidelines to illuminate pathways to self-acceptance, compassion, and encourage that unique spark of life within each of us to burn brightly.
💐 What to Prepare 💐
For 3D creation: 5”x8” card or firm paper, scissors, glue, any magazines, photos, or images to cut from
For Digital creation: a digital collage app of your choosing, online image sources such as iStock or unsplash, or your own digital photos
Journal and pen
Sacred space (any candle, fabrics, scents, or objects of your choosing for support and intention)

Sara engages song, poetry, and banjo rhythms as her main outlet for creativity these days, as well as the magic of imagery to help others unlock their inner wisdom. She believes that coming into awareness of our soul’s voice enlivens, invigorates, and brings our world into greater resonance. Sara spent much of the last decade performing with DC-based funk & soul band Everyday Everybody (fka AZTEC SUN) and sharing her own live set of jazzy bluesy rootsy originals at house shows, open mics, summer festivals, and other gatherings. As an extension of her focus on the voice as instrument of expression, Sara is developing her talent at voice acting and audiobook narration.
