Asserting and holding boundaries are hard. When we want to keep the peace between us and others, it may feel easier to please…. until resentment and anger set in to tell us that we are crossing our boundaries.
In this series facilitated by Chetna, we’ll explore different types of boundaries, our underlying needs, how to compassionately communicate our boundaries and we’ll re-frame boundary-holding as a necessity, rather than a luxury, for our integrity and generosity.
We’ll meet via Zoom every Wednesday in February
(the 3rd, 10th, 17th + 24th)
from 6pm - 8pm (mountain time)*
*please calculate the time per your location accordingly
By the end of the series, participants will:
Know the pillars of mindful self-compassion
Recognize the various flows of compassion in their lives
Acknowledge their needs beneath people-pleasing tendencies
Increase emotional and somatic awareness when a boundary has been crossed
Clarify what it looks like to be in integrity (vs. just obligatory generosity)
Identify 1-3 compassionate boundaries that need to be held
Practice communicating compassionate boundaries with others
